Environmental Officers

Kelly Scientific Resources partners with leading organisations in the field of environmental science and we are regularly being asked to provide high calibre staff.

We are currently seeking experienced Environmental Officers who are committed to maintaining, driving and improving environmental management processes.

You will ideally have a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science, Science or Engineering, however, an emphasis on environmental management is essential.

Environmental Officer positions available will primarily involve any or all of the following tasks:

• Assist in the development, implementation, operation and maintenance of the business's environmental management systems, with focus on audits and development of databases and procedures.
• Analyse environmental policy and legislation developments
• Prepare environmental impact assessments and operational guidelines, and assist with their implementation
• Assist in the establishment and maintenance of monitoring programs
• Provide technical environmental advice for new projects
• Preparation of statutory approval documents

Experience/knowledge of the following may be required:

• Environmental management system standard ISO 14001
• Environmental law (Australian and West Australian)
• Industrial ecology
• Environmental auditing  
• Sustainable development  
• Global, national and local environmental issue
